Starting from the bottom. How it all started in 1984, just perfect.

The most anticipated TV show in awhile and it did not disappoint. This was gritty, informative, entertaining and gave sports fans some fresh content that we desperately needed.

To be able to see this is fantastic, for those who haven't had the opportunity to see a single Michael Jordan game, like me, being able to see this documentary is amazing.

PS: I will be 23 in a couple of days lol

Amazing

If you like basketball, and the Chicago Bulls, and the Michael Jordan era, this would be like heaven for you. And if you don't, probably too, because this is an amazing documentary of an era and a sports icon. This first episode centers on the aftermath of the Chicago Bulls fifth ring, and the time before the start of the 1997-98 season, to then jump back in time to Jordan's uni years and his start with the Bulls. Top notch narration, interviews, and footage. Watch it!

9.7 rated series, really?

This episode felt a bit messy and unstructured for my taste. And most of the content was «Michael Jordan was an amazing player, blah blah». Like we all know that, i was interested to find more about his story and this really didn't leave me wanting more. Ok episode but not great imo.

Really WELL-MADE

I don't know nothing about basketball nor do I have any previous knowledge about MJ. However, this show already got me captivated and I think the reason is twofold.

1. Narrative is really well set-up. Storyline is flawless.

2. Good footages. No repeat usage, which is often very common in documentaries. All the footages were well chosen - made me feel like they had been working on this documentary since 1984. Perhaps an obvious perk of making a documentary about a topic as well documented and filmed as sports (basketball!)

Really excited for what's to come and learn more about the bigger-than-life figure, MJ.

The Last "Dance"

Warning: Spoilers
Easy enjoyable viewing, engaging and insightful. Portland how? I knew Sam Bowie was drafted ahead of Michael, but he had shown his talent in college and still third? You should always take the best talent in the draft in all sports regardless of what you need. Jordan and Drexler could of played together for a while and possibly trade later. Kerr pondered that question for a while about what this Chicago Bulls team's distinguishable identity would be throughout history, then he got it. "We had Michael," hah. Having sport columnists and commentators give their opinion I can do without, but this series looks like a sure thing.
