Such a moving episode in this series - no spoilers from me - just watch it for yourself - real people having real changes in lives and perspectives - love in action - families and communities coming together

I cried the whole episode. This was one of the most heartfelt episodes of television I have ever seen. This episode shows whatever religious belief you may have, love should always win over.

Wow this episode is amazing. It should be shown in schools and all places of worship as a demonstration of true kindness and acceptance.

Season 2 begins with a bang! I don't want to spoil it, but this episode was incredibly touching and pure. I can't wait to see the rest of the season. If this episode is any indication of where the rest of the season will go, I'm hooked!

This is the show we need right now. People coming together to better themselves and their communities. The Fab 5 are an absolute embarrassment of riches.

Honestly such an amazing episode about acceptance and love. This show continues to impress me with every watch.

My Gay friend got me hooked on this show, and overall I love it. This episode however really put me in a difficult situation. Obviously the woman whom they help is kind and it's good for the fab 5 to help her and her son. It's particularly commendable that she was able to change her mind and learn to accept Gay people upon learning that her son was gay.

However as a straight white person who found my way out of Christianity and religion altogether, I can't help but wonder why there wasn't at least one of the fab 5 who was more of a proponent of secularism. I genuinely wonder if any of the fab 5 didn't want to overplay their hand or if they were all genuine religious, in spite of the unnecessary baggage which comes from religion.

There is nothing objectively good a religious person can do, that an atheist can't do too. Meanwhile there are often terrible things done by religious people solely on the grounds of their religious upbringing. Hating gay people is probably the first example that comes to mind.

However the Bible also clearly endorses owning slaves as property. In the mid 19th century the Christian leaders argued about whether the Church has Biblical grounds to support abolishing slavery. And although slavery was eventually determined to be unacceptable by the bulk of Christians then, like the gay issue now it is won problematically by embracing vague passages of the Bible regarding a topic as opposed to the specific passages. One verse says treat your neighbor as yourself. Another says men don't lay with men or that slaves can be passed down to children as property. I'd say the specific passage should win out, If you're going to let such a book influence your morality. Luckily, there is no need for a holy book to play a part in a person's morality in the first place.

Maybe in the future this lady from Gay Georgia will take a further step forward in becoming more reasonable. Luckily she is very kind already and this episode will hopefully help the gay community even if it doesn't too much for the humanists. (or evidentians as I call them)
