It's a decent conclusion.

Lisa has now been discredited, but still refuses to give up, especially when she learns that a loved one is involved.

The series has been a bit hit and miss, and like so many, I think an excellent penultimate episode is followed by a decent conclusion.

One of the issues here is Lisa, she's quite a difficult character to like, she'd more interested in her job than her family, she screams and shouts like a stroppy teenager, and takes crazy risks. Med sadly seems to wander round with a blank look on his face.

Despite my irritations with some of the characters, there is no denying the acting is excellent, and the story is pretty good.

The revelation does come as a surprise, but we do have to suffer a bit of a soap plot to get there.

Frustrating, but good, 6/10.

I feel bad for Sam poor kid. I know he did wrong but he is genuinely sorry. He just panicked. This was well written. Normally I can figure the "who done it" out but I really didnt think about Sam. I even believed the after school counsellor could be the culprit.

Drama to warm your cockles

It's been a good series with a good script and actors (mostly relatively unknown so you can concentrate on the story) plus characters you can care about and resonate with. There is a surprising perpetrator but maybe not convincing but a great watch just the same.

Too close to the truth.

Characters are very believable, youth, arrogance, know it all, teen bullying, modern schools. Single parent tough job troublesome kids, dominant mother. Police techniques appear very accurate along with the. Depth of investigation give results. Surprised not more use Scenes of crime evidence and DNA. Most criminals convict themselves these days. Some very good illustrations of the use of young kids as couriers in drug distribution. Petty steeling for pin money. Bottle of Vodka and temptation sums it all up today. Morecambe Bay with its northern accents can be hard to understand at times but very real and true to life. Watching the first series again as it was very well structured. None of the American detection of this piece of evidence can only be from this place therefore guilty. A great plot along with a great temptation. Did the 10 minute quicky and destroying evidence hamper the investigation? Not really but demotion a bit tough especially being put with the DS you trained to keep an eye on you creates an interesting dynamic. Looking forward to the 3rd series.

Warning: Spoilers
Well done end to this compelling series. I see here a second series is planned and I only hope we are done with this story and something new is in the works. But being such a small community I do not imagine we've heard or seen the last of Sean, Molly, etc. I surmise Lisa will be reinstated though maybe cut in rank or pay.

Broadchurch rip off..

Warning: Spoilers
This was good to watch but slowly became more and more familiar. The setting, the characters, even finding the body on the beach is a complete rip off of series 1 of Broadchurch. 0/10 for originality !
