Bishop and Nolan are assigned by Sgt. Grey to patrol with the Hollywood director Rupert Payne as a ride-along and avoid dangerous cases. Bishop is indifferent to Payne, but Nolan gives full attention to him and is invited by the director to a party at his mansion. But when they attend a dispatch call of a black family disturbance, they find an unexpected dangerous situation. Meanwhile Bradford learns that Isabel has been arrested for drug possession and he asks to talk to her in private. Soon her learns that she has one kilo of heroin hidden in her heater and he lives a dilemma, whether he shall help her or not.
"The Ride Along" is another entertaining episode of "The Rookie". The drama of the correct Officer Bradford with his wife Isabel is the best storyline and makes the show worthwhile watching. My vote is eight.
