A breath of fresh air.

I'm not sure what's happening at the moment, but the BBC is coming up with some really good quality, well made, and funny comedy. The most eagerly awaited for me was this one, and it didn't disappoint. Toby Jones is a terrific performer and doesn't disappoint, he's excellent as down on his luck Peter.

I loved the story about the trip to Dunkirk, loved the gags, and particularly enjoyed the performance of Carol MacReady, who produces a poignant moment discussing her brother that never returned.

This is going to be so good! 8/10

Toby Jones co-wrote and plays two roles in this dark comedy.

He plays Peter a coach driver in Bognor Regis who does the regular booze cruise to France.

He also plays his more cheerful twin brother Barry who lives in Australia.

Peter's life is beleaguered. He is divorced, a single father and looking after his elderly mother.

As Peter sets off in this first episode, the police are crawling on this beach side town as a body is washed up. It is likely to be a migrant.

When the coach arrives back to Bognor Regis, Peter discovers a migrant woman hiding in his coach.

Well the publicity set it is a comedy but I actually found nothing to laugh about. I think Toby Jones wants to be this like The Detectorists which he also starred in. Going by the first episode I am not sure.
