They added a new character to the mix which should spicen things up, but after awhile if they play into every romcom trope the show may get tiring.

A kiss is so much more

Warning: Spoilers
Ok, so where did Camille come from? Why did we not see her a single time when Emily bumps into Gabriel? How did Emily not see any indication of a woman living with him when she even used his shower?! When he cooks an omelet for her?
Was this supposed to be a big surprise reveal or did they come up with his plottwist all of a sudden?
Very strange.
Anyhow, she kissed him (finally) and it was magical!

A Kiss Is Just a Kiss

The best episode so far.
It works in several ways. Emily makes a friend, a random woman who helps her buy roses. The roses are to keep her new boss Sylvie sweet.
Emily also spots a good opportunity that would be good for the company and its clients.
An American hotelier who is planning to open a hotel in Paris is introduced to a perfumer who can enhance the ambience of the new hotel through smell.
When Emily needs an emergency restaurant reservation, Gabriel the chef comes through.
It is still hokey. I mean you would think that Sylvie would know how to get an important restaurant reservation though her own contacts for an important deal.
Still it shows that Emily is a go getter, thinks on her feet and it brings her close to Gabriel. Something the audience would had known would take place since the first episode.
Just as shame for Emily that the random woman she earlier met, she would see again later in the evening.
