Double action
cohuman19 May 2020
One of Mohan's rare double roles. He is a simple person living in a small village with a strict father Vinu Chakravarthy , his mother and sister . A series of incidents make him believe that there is his look alike . His family and friends don't belive him. His sister's marriage is cancelled because of some confusion with the groom's side over this matter . Thats when he leaves the village for better prospects. There too , he loses his job , name and honour ,peace because of this unknown look alike . His bad luck follows him everywhere Finally he encounters this person when there is some confusion about money with his boss and he gets killed in a fist fight . Some misunderstanding makes his family think that indeed their son is dead . Mohan watches his own funeral in his home town from behind a tree. On the way to the crematorium , he encounters his father and says he prefers living life as the villain Mohan because the good character did not earn him anything except insults and failure . Finally his father realises hi mistake in misjudging his son and relents . Chitra hardly has any role she only dances and prances as the village belle with Mohan in the first few scenes . Gandhimati as his Mother in-law , Janakraj as his city friend invoke some genuine laughs. Ganthimati's husky voice is a delight to listen to along with her facial expressions. . Mohan is on top of the game as a misunderstood , innocent confused person . Manivannan is fine as his boss who understands him all the time and encourages him kindly Over all a fine movie . Mohan's plus has been his soft voice which invokes a lot of sympathy .
