Intertwined Brilliance !!
What emotion, story telling & interconnection of imagination to take humans to the moon & Cassini to Saturn. The series returned to its best in comparison to the previous episode which focused mainly on earth..

Every minute of this episode was valuable and worthwhile. Absolutely love the monochrome sequence of Cassini & Saturn towards the end..

All the episodes are so good, it's hard to even believe...including this Cassini one

I absolutely loved the soothing music and montage of the black and white pictures the Cassini satellite took over it's life's duration. It's also great to see Ukrainians and Russians getting some air time for their contributions in spaceflight and science. You kind of forget their importance and the names are lost because they aren't American or European. So so much kudos for that. Again, the show is simply a marvel of epic proportions.

Magnificent!

I couldn't agree with some of the other reviews I see here more!

While I've found most of the episodes of the season to be delightfully more engaging and generally less elementary then those of previous seasons, this episode stands head and shoulders above all the others.

The way they build up to the final run of Cassini images and footage successfully delivers an emotional jolt that took me completely by surprise. I found myself leaning toward the television as they ramped up the song "Emotional" by Ludovico Eniaudi in the background. The wonderfully emotional engagement they Manage to create in those few minutes left me feeling awestruck as it built up to a fevered pitch.

Bravo! Truly!

Best of the Series

Warning: Spoilers
I would have to say this is my favorite episode. The theme of exploring our own Solar System from the earliest viewers to sending out missions was so well crafted and yet simply told. It's a bit sad to think that the Russian dreamer/scientist could have been alive to see humans land on the moon, but his life was cut short by war. I admit to getting a bit misty eyed see the scientists watch their beloved rocked go to it's "death."
