Ghosts?
bonz6596-507-5228398 January 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Am I the only one that can see Smith or something? I think I'm being "Punked" because she's just moving around freely to the point where nobody on the ship notices her. Hope this changes soon.

Kelp Us to Kelp You.
southdavid20 January 2020
The strong start to the second season of "Lost In Space" continued with this episode.

Wedged on the edge of the artificial trench that the family found last week, their preparations for charging the ship via the lightning shower are plunged into chaos when Maureen (Molly Parker) and Penny (Mina Sundwell) go over the waterfall and are trapped hundreds of feet below the family. This gives them a chance to work through Penny's issues with being the useless child. The rest of the family have their own problems, alongside rescuing the pair, with seemingly sentient kelp that bonds to the Jupiter, and infects Don (Ignacio Serrichhio) with their toxin.

I think, since the last episode I might have had a bit of a breakthrough. It might have been something I read in one of the reviews, I can't remember, but I've come to realise that the show is "about" the family falling into peril every week and complaining that it's repetitive in that nature is missing the point. Accepting that, it's either good or bad within that conceit and the show was, for me mostly good this week. The effects were decent, acting was fine and the plot . . mostly . . made sense, I'm a little shaky on how, exactly, they survived the drop into the trench but how they got out seemed to track, logically.

It was funny again too, I don't remember the first season having this much humour and I like the sparky flirty interplay between June and Don - even if it contains a certain amount of blackmail.

It's not suddenly become "Must See TV" or anything like that, but with this second episode I'm still not hating any of the family and I'm still entertained, which is enough for now.

Season 2 Episode 2
jimmyishere-3774828 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I liked the mystery part better with the waterfall and the symbols. The science is improving which is really amazing and I'm having high hopes for Season 2. Definitely better than Season 1.

-This is a good episode.

-It's very weird to see so many bad reviews, because the episode is extraordinary and this is one of the few series like Mandalorian and maybe Star Trek Picard and Titans made for mentally normal people, without any SJW agenda or without any scenes or characters meant to fulfill the dreams of any kind of pervert viewer which considers visual atrocities as being realism, and only for that thing this series and the producers are deserving our respects.

Humorous
fermatamb2 January 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Some of their predicaments are predictable and laughable, but for some reason it is still fun to watch. Parker Posey is wickedly good. One thing is for sure, I'm very disappointed that the space ship did not contain a rope long enough to lift them out of the abyss. In addition, why do these people never latch onto the ship with a cable? Obviously, it's to move the plot along.

Okay episode but illogical
cbw195828 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Why lower the chariot using the winch when they could have just extended the winch cable and then bring them back on board? Yes, they would have still faced the same problem of it being too short but the makeshift ladder idea could have been reworked a bit to take care of the shortfall. I understand the need for drama but not at the expense of simple logic.

Exhausting!
stevehealyart31 December 2019
In fairness, the production values are very high and the acting well above par. However, watching the characters being relentlessly flung from one fraught and unlucky situation to another for almost the entire episode is, quite frankly, exhausting.

Ever A day free of disaster?
phynigan1 April 2020
Tedious amount of disasters up to this point. Flaring was a technique perfected by J.J. Abrams so overuse is too much. Taking the fun out of watching when every episode is ecpected to open with a disaster....

You can't add jeopardy where we know none exists
ben-millen125 December 2019
This episode like the 1st falls completely flat, we only really have the core family so we don't for a second believe any of the jeopardy they are put in because we know they are not going to kill any of them off, so this episode once again boils down to a few hallmark channel moments with 2 min of plotting from the bad guy and a nugget of story development towards the end, with what they discovered this episode could have been so much more yet instead it was another sickly family drama with little to keep my attention

Bad again
natashaconnor-9192431 December 2019
AGAIN Really bad directing, terribly fast pace & obscene use of unnecessary lens flares. Stupid story plots and for some reason in constant trouble. Forced emotion and just damn right silly.
