Boring and ridiculous
undonet29 March 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Nice to see Lucca enjoying motherhood, other than that... Blum is back and singing which is super weird. Diane's storyline is getting more and more ridiculous. Do they really need so much swearing? Yes, so that the viewers don't fall asleep. So disappointing

More Diane Lockhart!
lizarmstrong-6029329 March 2019
This show has gone downhill with these last two episodes. Michael Sheen's character is not necessary, but his scene with Diane was decent anyway. The excessive swearing is not needed. The show has gone too much into dealing with Trump and we hardly see the lawyers working on actual cases. Diane is the main character and is hardly seen the whole episode! This show is in need of better writers!

Episode 303

Warning: Spoilers
The Good Fight shorts aren't needed as even if some viewers don't understand the lingo they would rather watch a little bit in the dark than sit through this. The Roland cover of "I'll Be There" at the end was weird, but worked given the absurdity of that character.

This show has gone off the rails in its second season. Some of it good, but in many ways I wish they would just stick to the law.

Funny!

While I agree that the cartoon skits can be a bit much sometimes, they are educational nonetheless. I actually happen to think this was one of the best episodes this season! Blum singing I'll Be There was genius!!! I still can't stop laughing!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Warning: Spoilers
I submit that the people who are complaining about the show's current "direction" need to look up the meaning of the words sarcasm and satire. I think Season 3, and this episode in particular, are freaking hysterical! The complainers are so missing the point. This show didn't create the current crazy that is overwhelming our society, that credit goes to the orange overlord who is running the United States these days. This show is just reacting to it, and making their own commentary on the situation. Why try to make something else up when you already have such great material at hand? They're providing an excellent emotional release for those who are paying attention in my opinion. I'm enjoying the vignettes and songs. The song at the end by Blum is so out there. It's funny, yet creepy and crazy, cos it's unfortunately apropos to what is what is actually happening in our world.

The crazies have taken over the asylum people, and if you can't handle a television show acknowledging it and expressing an opinion about it, then change the batteries in your little remotes, and go back to watching the pablum that is prevalent on the other channels. That should pacify your need for pretending it's all happy happy out there. Kudos to CBS for taking a stand!

It's "Schoolhouse Rock" you neophytes!!!
Calmat24 April 2020
She's other reviews see the show as getting worse. WRONG! The characters are becoming more developed. They are growing and becoming more multidimensional. Cardboard 2 dimensional characters are for comedies and speak only to those who see television as an escape.

These characters and drawn in reality and becoming more human. This relieves their predictability and sadly for the weak minded, forces the viewer to think, not just stare. If that's what you need, watch the Brady Bunch or just turn off the TV and look at it.

On another note this and all the episodes prior and upcoming are BEAUTIFUL. The care that goes into each shot, set, costume and angle is akin to seeing technicolor for the first time Ina theater. Lockhart's and Boseman's wardrobes are stunning.

Finally, the shorts are brilliant! They are satirical in nature and not parodies of Schoolhouse Rock, but rather, tributes; Very clever and catchy. The first one nearly made me cry for its precise attention to the detail of the genre. The one in this episode is excellent!!!

You nattering nabobs of negativism should try broaden your horizons and IQ.

What's happened to the series? Season 3 feels like a completely different show, my interest is rapidly fading.

No more stupid cartoons...
Veritas9929 March 2019
Please, please, stop the stupid cartoons and songs, and hopefully we won't see again Blum character. The series is degrading fast, all very interesting plots are suffocated by those stupid songs.

Please stop ruining the show
Christina-111-74958931 March 2019
I don't recognize this formerly great show. It is exhausting to watch Blum. The voice is not Sheens original voice and the character is just too much. And the cartoons are annoying.

Get rid of Blum
nkaempfer5 April 2019
The show used to have a realistic quality. Blum's over acted character has a lowering quality.

So
whatithinkis29 March 2019
The singing and cartoons migrated from 'Brain Dead,' which the Kings wrote. This is not that, or anything close. 'Brain Dead' was genius. This is desperate.

Michael Sheen is just awful. And desperate. Every aspect of what he did was unpleasant and not entertaining. Overacting, not strength. Ditto Rose Leslie's tantrum.

I enjoy the Trump-bashing, as well as going to school on his 'technique.' Using it against him brings us to the edge of an abyss . . . but there is the second term issue.

Overall the writing is weak and that's too bad. TGW was tight, complex, fun. This is messy, reaching and seems to be falling apart.

Too bad. I like Christine Baranski and Gary Cole. Wish they wrote better material for Sarah Steele's character. But, hey, if they could they would already be doing it.

Weary
duku659 August 2021
Been watching the series for a couple months. I was enjoying it but all the Trump stuff & David Sheen. (Hope he goes away soon) I am no Trump fan but I get enough politics. I like to watch tv to escape everyday life.

The series began well but in my viewpoint it is fading fast.. I am hoping it turns but I am about to move on from this nonsense..Oh and the cartoons are stupid.

Horrible
ronfernandezsf11 April 2021
This show which started out very well has become one big mess. What happened????? Stupid story lines and worse characters. Most of the episodes don't make sense. Richard Kind as a Judge in one episode was beyond belief. No fault of the actor, but the lousy writers. The worse thing about these episodes is the Bloom character over played by Mr. Sheen. Should be ashamed of himself and the directing. With thee cartoons and songs it's become quite surreal. Please bring back decent actors and characters. Too bad they did away with Barthas character. And Lucca is getting annoying and the Diane is getting a little on the stupid side. What happened to the outstanding writers and directors of THE GOOD WIFE?? Only Sarah Steele os worth watching and thankfully she's given a lot to do. Just get ride of Mr. Sheen!!!!!!

Series lost
sawznhamrs-15 April 2020
It is not surprising that a team could lose its way in writing an excellent series. Who knows what forces came together to bring this disgusting character Roland Blum and dismiss the handsome, interesting and delightful character, Colin Morello. There is not even any bother to explain his disappearance. Perhaps there were substitute writers not credited for this or perhaps they were weary of the effort it took to maintain such quality plots and scripts. I'm just marking time and letting the episodes play while I do other things. There are other details I could criticize, but what good would that do?

This is the point I stop watching the show
guy-summerton15 July 2019
As a lover of the Good Wife I was so looking forward to this show, however it seems week on week it just gets worse. The writers have lost the plot, the story lines and characters are ridiculous. A show with so much potential has been let down by writers wanting it to be edgy. And quirky. Sorry but like the song by Andrea Bocelli it's Time to say Goodbye.

No good at all
lukeryan-636827 April 2021
Between the F word and drugs this show has fallen down the drain. What's with the singing and cartoons. As far as the judges go they act like they don't even know the law.
