maybe, nice

A summer day . Three friends on the beach. A not reasonable joke of two from them about the last. And nothing more. It is a nice film or, more precise, it could be a nice one because, for obscure motives, the director preferes to transform a simple, charming story in a ...Baroque one. The talks from bus station, the bizarre end are real awful.Philip Redohl makes a good job in not the most comfortable role . And , maybe, the moral lesson proposed by film , very silly, can be useful for a part of young public.

Continuing....

Now this is Germany, one of a number of European countries in which nude beaches and nudity in appropriate places was of no consequence at all. The dialogue at the bus stop, where we all know Peter is sitting in his swimming briefs pretending to be naked, seems to be a spoof on current European sensitivities about child abuse. In this light, I think it successful, but still weird.

So anyway everything about this movie is great especially the nature imagery and everything and the music is great obviously it's an amateur movie but then again we all love it very much it's very nicely then the boys are beautiful the story is a bit comical the only sad thing is that they speak so very slowly but it's very comical the effect is there is good and it's very nice very beautifully done as a total the movie works for me very much bravo

Is this about Germany today?

This must be a genre with which I have had no contact. There is supposed to be a nudist beach, and there is dialogue about the boy's first experience of nudism, but no nudity. Many camera angles of the upper body and the legs - bits which are "nude", as if the camera is shy of exposing the middle part. Child protection? From the rear there would be no problem, and some bum shots would show that they really are naked. In fact, they are wearing briefs, something the camera fails to conceal. If the intention was to film in a way that would leave the viewer thinking they were naked, then the film is just a silly failure. Instead we have a film about a film-maker who is terribly sensitive....
