From my experience, so many Australian attempts at sci fi, supernatural or horror suck badly. Not sure why this is the case, given the predominance of Australian actors in a lot of high quality international productions of the same genre.
I do agree that the story would have been better told over two seasons, as the third seemed like a contractual obligation for all concerned. Two seasons with an extra two episodes per season with the Elisha and William connection explored in more detail, would have been far more satisfying. Overall the acting was exceptional, given some of the content they had to deal with.
A great idea, reasonably executed, but done to "death" in season 3. Still worth a viewing.
