Don't Hate The Playaz is lowest common denominator bread and circus stuff. The show is gives you a taste of what it would be like if you dragged a segment of the most vain, showboats and narcissistic people from of social media websites and put them on a television show. In many ways, Don't Hate the Playaz is Reminiscent of the experimental flops they used to air on channel 4 in the 90s. Tries desperately to mask it's own boringness by appearing outrageous and over the top and full of narcissistic, boring, uninteresting, conformist personalities. There is nothing really here except drumming up a gullible, impressionable crowd into whooping at everything the cast say, very much like they often do in the US. Day-time to is more entertaining than this!

Awful, self indulgent, low grade trash

One of the worst shows on the box. A disjointed, pointless cast flounder, propped up by nothing but their large egos. Even eye candy Maya Jama cannot save this lame duck that has somehow managed to be commissioned for more than one series. It's challenging to fill the review section with sufficient characters as this show is so unremarkable. It's difficult to understand why some people, all be it a minority, absolutely love this dreadful mish mash of a show. There's no accounting for taste. Compared to previous shows that embrace urban culture "don't hate the playaz" simply doesn't stand up. It has zero substance or insight, essentially, it's got absolutely nothing going for it.
Super fun - gets the juices flowing

Don't Hate The Playaz is a brilliant show. The show has a great mix of celeb guest and the captains, the host Jordan is also very good at getting everyone involved and bantering with everyone, keeping the show light. In many ways, Don't Hate the Playaz is also a great show of representation, probably one of the only panel shows on TV with a regular all-black cast on most of the episodes. The games are a bit chaotic but that adds to the charm and comedy of the show. It is well-executed and a lot of fun. It is definitely targeting a certain section of music and comedy fans but that's fine. The show works super well and is a great laugh that speeds along and is a very fun watch. Worth a watch!
