Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction (1997)
An Unconventional "Anthology" Series
I think I would classify this show as an anthology in the vain of Tales from the Crypt and The Twilight Zone. It contains many stories that could easily appear on those shows and the fact that many are based on true stories makes the show all the most fascinating. And the fact that the show does not tell you if a story was based on a real event adds to the mystery of you trying to figure out for yourself, until the end where they reveal which were fact and which were fiction. I normally do not enjoy series that portray real events but this show entertained me a lot, most likely due to the mystery and the anthology feel of it all. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoys anthology series, and for anyone who enjoys TV shows that portray real life events. I enjoyed it, and I know I want to watch it when it comes on TV again!
X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009)
A good comic book adaptation film, and sits on par with The Last Stand
While I've heard many negative things about X-Men Origins: Wolverine, seriously I found it difficult to find one good comment of this film here on IMDb, coming from a die-hard X-Men fans but a not-so Wolverine fan, this movie rocks! Sure it does take some liberties, one that annoyed me, but that didn't ruin the film for me, is that they made Silver Fox and Emma Frost sisters. Now, I haven't read every single X-Men comic ever produced, but I find it hard to believe that those two ever interacted before, so why make them sister. I'll tell you why: it was nothing more than a cheap plot piece to throw Emma Frost into the movie, while at the same time giving her a slightly bigger cameo than other mutants thrown in just for fun. I've also read some comments about people complaining that Sabretooth and Wolverine aren't brothers, so why are they in the movie. Another cheap plot piece? No. You can't blame this movie for that element of the story because they didn't just pull it out of the sky. A Wolverine centric comic book mini-series released only a few years ago made them brothers. So if you don't like that, you can't blame this movie. They're only trying to be as current as possible. While this movie is chalk full of pointless plot devices only made to throw more cameos in, the aforementioned Emma/Silver relationship, as well as having Cyclops and Gambit involved with Weapon X, which I'm pretty sure never happened in the comics. So the bottom line boils down to: this movie is good. It's probably 3rd on my ranking of X-Men films, ahead of the first but still behind The Last Stand and X2, but it still is enjoyable. I was surprised I liked it so much, being as I don't really care for Wolverine. But the only problem with this movie is the writers deciding to rewrite X-Men history, as a way to throw in characters who should have bigger roles in the film series, but just don't fit in this film all that well.
Wolverine and the X-Men (2008)
The Best X-Men series EVER!!!!
So, I was a bit skeptical at first glance of this show. I mean, I hate Wolverine, and seeing him a leader just didn't sit right with me. But It is the X-Men and I love the X-Men, so of course I was going to tune it. And I was blown away. For a modern "children's" animated series, this show is full of action, drama, emotion, and character development (for the most part). Now, the first few episodes didn't exactly send me flying out of my seat, but it does have a pretty long (26 episode) season, so of course there as going to be some good and some bad episodes. I waited to review the show until seeing the entire first season, and it's great. I'd say about 2/3 of the first season is good. My favorite episodes of the season would be Hindsight Parts 2 & 3 (ep.2-3), Time Bomb (ep.8), Future X (ep.9), Greetings from Genosha (ep.10), eXessive Force (ep.12) Backlash (ep.18), and Foresight parts 1-3 (ep.24,25,26). Before this, Evolution was my favorite X-Men show, but this just blows Evolution, Pryde, and TAS right out of the water. If you don't think so, just wait until the final three, which will give you a payoff you can't wait to be followed up on.
Scrubs (2001)
Just the Sort of Trash ABC wants; it will fit right in
NBC has officially canceled this series but it has been picked up for another season with ABC and I for one think ABC is the perfect place for it. The show is NOT Funny, Crap, Bad Writers and Horrible Ratings. It will fit right in on ABC. Good Luck Scrubs but I don't think you'll need it considering everything else on ABC is complete crud. The only good show on ABC now is Samantha Who? but Scrubs it not funny at all. It shocks me that it has a 9.3! rating here on IMDb because I hate the show. And P.S. to the writers of Scrubs, a SITCOM which Scrubs is supposed to be maybe should have a joke or two thrown in for fun to make the series funny. I HIGHLY Advice NO ONE to tune in when it moves to ABC this fall. You will surely regret it.

Passions (1999)
A Great Show that slowly loses realism
I began watching Passions when it began in 1999 and It's going to be sad when it ends at the end of this year. The series has became such a guilty pleasure for me and one of my favorite shows. The series became so good and I actually feared for the characters lives but the show has lost realism, I mean it's a Soap Opera so of course it's going to wacky and Passions has made it so much more wacky but the series stop seeming real by 2004. Characters kept dying and coming back, characters kept surviving multiple murder attempts and I realize because it's a soap opera this will happen. I also started watching it's NBC lead-in, Days of Our Lives in 1999 but stopped watching the show in 2005 when it became so boring and now Passions is just becoming stupid in it's final year. But even with all these complaints it is one of the best shows on TV and if it continued beyond 2008, I might just stop watching just like I did Days of Our Lives but although it will be sad when it ends, the series should end I think because it is getting dumber and dumber by each passing year but I will stick with it until it's end and if you've never seen this show and you somehow get the resources to watch old episodes, I recommend the entire series to watch but be warned the final years sometimes became hard to watch.
One Tree Hill (2003)
The Best Drama on Telivison and One of the Best TV Shows of All Time
Although I never started watching the show until late 2007, I have gotten so addicted to this show and I haven't even been watching it for a full year yet. I've already purchased the first two seasons on DVD and watch it anytime it's on TheCW or SoapNet. And Unlike other Teenage Dramas like The O.C. and Degrassi: The Next Generation (this coming from a lifelong Degrassi fan), One Tree Hill actually seems like I have a hidden camera on all these character's lives because it's so realistic. Degrassi gets less and less realistic every episode and The O.C. is just stupid. But One Tree Hill is different, it's real, funny, dramatic, so addicting and so good it has to be bad for me in some way. If I Never discovered One Tree Hill, I probably would have turned away from the whole Drama Genre (after my other favorite Drama, Passions ends) by the end of 2008. Thanks One Tree Hill and for anyone who has never seen this show, I highly recommend watching it and buying the DVDs. It's literally become my favorite show of all time. Check it Out.
Resident Evil (2002)
Follows Nothing of the Game but a pretty good film on it's own
This movie I at first hated with a passion and never wanted to watch it again, but as I started to like the sequels and bought them I decided to give this one another look and I was proved wrong. Although this film follows nothing of the games (this coming from a huge RE game fan) but is an okay film standing on it's own. Like I've said for the other RE movies, you'll probably like it if you are a casual viewer of Horror/Action films but if your a Resident Evil fan, maybe watch it once but even myself complain that these movies should have followed the video games. Can't Wait for Resident Evil Degeneration, the First Full Length RE CG Movie based on the game and starring Leon and Claire from RE 2.

Resident Evil: Apocalypse (2004)
One of the Most Worthy Video Game to Movie Adaptations
Resident Evil: Apocalypse is an all around terrific film. It's a much better film then the first RE movie because it actually follows a game's plot line. In case your new, this movie is based on Resident Evil 3: Nemesis (or Biohazard: Last Escape- as it's known in Japan)and it makes a very good effort at bringing this game to the silver screen. The story is as follows, the citizens of Racoon City are in a panic when the zombies from The Hive (from the first move) are released into the city. They try to escape but most of them are locked in the city by the Umbrella Corporation, the people who created the virus that turned the humans into zombies. The film brings all the characters from RE 3: Nemesis into it such as Jill Valentine (Sienna Gullory does an absolute amazing job playing her, Carlos Olivera (not a very good job at bringing him to the screen considering the actor is the wrong nationality and has the wrong accent, but other then that he does OK), Nicholai Ginovaeff (this is my biggest complaint because the actor who plays him doesn't look right and Nicholai is evil in the games not good) and of course Nemesis who is commanded to kill all S.T.A.R.S. members. This movie, although was panned by critics, is the BEST Video game adaptation EVER because it sticks the RE 3 story really well. Some people complain that his movie is more action then horror, but even according to the Resident Evil Video Game Creator, RE 3 the game was more action then horror, so the film makers did an amazing job. 2 thumbs up and 10/10!
Resident Evil: Extinction (2007)
A Film that Continues the Same old tired act of the series... but
Resident Evil: Extinction continues the same non-game related efforts of the previous installments meaning it doesn't have anything to do with the video games except of course for Claire Redfield who is played by Ali Larter who doesn't exactly bring Claire full fleshed to the screen but does an OK job at it. The movie, while completely unrelated to the Video Games, is a great horror/zombie movie of it's kind. I recommend this film to any hardcore horror or action fans and you'll probably get an enjoyable experience but being a hardcore Resident Evil Video Game fan myself, I would tell Resident Evil game fans to pass on this film just like the other 2 because although it's good, it's not Resident Evil.
