Warning: Spoilers
I don't normally give 1 as a score, especially to a Winnie the Pooh movie. But, guess what? Disney really dropped the ball on this one. Obviously, no one who was writing or editing has ever seen The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, which is the release of the three main vignettes created by Disney himself with his original artists, etc. as one movie. I saw it as a kid, and own a copy on VHS that I bought for my son. In the second vignette, Winnie the Pooh has just had his experience with "Winds-Day", and the "very blustery day turned into a very blustery night". When Pooh is in bed, there comes a sound "never heard in the 100-acre wood before". And there is a loud banging at his door (for those who love to find errors in editing, have a field day with Pooh's door!). Pooh "decides to let the new sound in" and in bounds Tigger, who "bounces" Pooh for the very first time. In the very first vignette, Pooh gets trapped in Rabbit's front door. Remember who brought Pooh honeysuckle? Remember who pulled and tugged to remove Pooh from Rabbit's door?? Kanga and Roo. Who lived in the 100-acre wood before Tigger. Enough before Tigger to be well-established characters LONG before Tigger enters the Disney picture. So,I recommend NEVER seeing this movie. Never buying this movie and maybe even sending mail to Disney to let them know fans of Pooh weren't napping on this one. What a waste. I was very angry at the theater when I took my son and spent over $30 to see something that was so horrible. I've since learned it's OK to leave and ask for a refund. You won't be blacklisted at that theater, and you might even send a mightier message to the Disney machine. This isn't the first ball they've dropped, but it certainly is the most disappointing.
