Wasted Talent....
2 February 2022
Warning: Spoilers
If wasting talent was a crime this whole movie and all associated with it would have made headlines for the wrong reasons. With TOO many characters and TOO little for them to do not to mention that it takes almost the entire movie to finally get some form of amusement. There are also many issues that this movie suffered from talent and creative wise. It spends too much time introducing characters that go nowhere. Some of the gags were too weak for any of the star's to really work with and more than half had really nothing to do.

The whole base was out there. A small town in Florida Ticlaw (not a real town) has only one main attraction and one main gimmick. The attraction is a Safari Park and the one gimmick is a waterskiing elephant. Easy to see why this town was passed up for a exit ramp. The Mayor (Devane) who also runs the Safari Park is desperate after being conned out of $10 thousand dollars and will do anything to make official's see the need for a ramp. After watching it and I do say that the list of people a who's who drew me in and the results were poor.

At 24-25 million to make and a cheap shot to recoup money for the budget led it's lead distributer to bulk and not promote the movie which led to a crushing blow at the box office losing 22-23 million becoming one of the biggest box office bombs of all time. I'm sure the movie either way would have fizzled. The movie Also failed in the test of time as it looks beyond dated. Save yourself the near 2 hour's you'll never get back by avoiding this one and can thank me later.
