I was enjoying this movie up until the point when a minor character uttered the G-damn word. I certainly didn't expect to hear that in an animated film and I was dismayed.
I feel the need to push back against the use of profanity in entertainment, religious exclamations and blasphemy in particular.
Why does DC do it? Do they think it makes the film "more cool", or "more grown up"? I have noticed that DC productions occasionally indulge in the use of that word. Examples include "Superman: Man of Tomorrow", and the live action series "Krypton".
It's stupid and offensive, ruining my enjoyment of an otherwise excellent movie. I was planning to purchase the parts 2 & 3 films, but not anymore.
