Merle has always been a complex character that never managed to become popular with any of the other characters! He was.. mostly hated!
However, this episode really showed us just who he was! Nobody is born this way, instead you are shaped by your environment and the choices you make! It is never too late to redeem yourself even if you can never undo the tings you did!
