This episode really demonstrates the problem with early Clone Wars- a lot of these plots flirt with going somewhere and then don't. Most of the episodes this season do not present characters with conflicts that force them to demonstrate who they are. Everyone is put in philosophically, morally, and emotionally comfortable situations that do not force them to develop. There also continue to not be any closure with different antagonists because we know they survive and/or remain uncaptured in future canon. General Grievous and Count Dooku, especially, keep being teased as possibly being defeated or captured but because we know they won't be, I don't understand the point of these plotlines. I know the show, especially earlier on, was very episodic but I feel like you could have made these bouts more entertaining.
