The reason I say that this pleasant comedy is ahead of its time is that partway through the show, a moral is taught, which reminds me of later episodes of "Mork And Mindy." Charles Ruggles plays the wise, all-knowing father, perhaps more with it than his usual portrayals of clueless servants. He and his television wife have been married for over twenty years, and they have four children, the young adult daughter, the teen-age son, who while not rebellious, is awkward, and then the sly old rascal adds twins to his lot, who have wonderful chemistry together. The acting is solid, the pace is smooth, and I can see many similarities in "Father Knows Best", "The Hank McCune Show", etc. It is nice to see a father who isn't clueless or clumsy.My apologies to those who like "The Life Of Riley" and/or "The Su Erwin Show."
