If I were Sam, I'd be saying this because he certainly got underpaid for what he went through! First of all, you could see the stagecoach hijacking from a mile away. On a Western, anytime there is a log blocking the road it's a sure sign that the stagecoach will soon be under siege, and it was no different this time.
So Sam has four passengers and a prisoner to deal with, as well as a group of outlaws. Whew, but that was a lot of responsibility! And I must say that the way they got out of this one was a total surprise to me. Thank goodness for women in this one! I'd say that in some ways, the women were braver and stronger in this episode than the men...But that's just my opinion!
