The origins of the Southern Rock revolution are examined by including vintage live performance clips by pioneering southern rock bands, live interviews with many performers and many interesting facts about the people, the music and it's impact on American music and culture both yesterday and today. The untimely death of Duane Allman, his contribution to that new musical style and the musical freedom it represented to other artists at the time are closely examined.
