The Cold War between Elijah and Sydney
shubhayanchakrabarti1 October 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Picking up right where we left off last week, this week introduces a new case pertaining to a farmer being sued for allegedly 'stealing' seeds from a competitor. The entire case seems to be a farce in reality as Sydney's opening argument indicates. Yet, the opposition doesn't back down that easily going as far as threatening witnesses to back down. Elijah takes matters into his own hands when he witnesses such a thing about to happen to his own daughter. On the sidelines, Jake and Anthony take up a chef who is accusing his brother of stealing his barbecue recipe as well. The entire case is hilarious and ends with the two brothers reuniting despite their differences, thanks to Anthony. Also, the cold war between Sydney and Elijah escalates as Sidney finds out that her mother knew of Emerson. But Elijah, in a truly touching scene, reminds her daughter that he can remain mad at him, but asks her not to be mad at her mother. It's a truly heart-warming scene between father and daughter. The case ends with a win, tactfully pulled out by Elijah. All in all, another great episode. Keep it up.

Another Phoney Plot

Silly legal logic throughout. Implausible personal relationships handled by immature people. and then Elijah assaults a man and there are no consequences. Should have spent a few days in jail. Stories written by middle schoolers. Show is now on deathwatch.

Bluff City Law.

Warning: Spoilers
Solid story, courtroom drama alone isn't enough though. Draymond Green can't act, he's use to just yelling. Family drama's all a bit sappy, episode's on par with the first unfortunately.
