Conflicted
I still find the series interesting but irritating at times. I miss Damien Lewis but I am fine with the Michael Prince character. I am , however, so sick of bug eyed Giamatti that he would be my reason for not watching. I get that his character is over the top but it's becoming too much. And he was more palatable with the beard. It would have been better to have lost his character and to have given Bobby Axelrod a new adversary. His storyline is becoming ridiculous. Not sure this needs another season.

I'm still enjoying the series

Yes it's a pity Axe left but things change.

I don't understand why we are talking about an Olympic Games when we already know who has it and these things get sorted out much further out than 6 years. It's a weird plot.

Also don't get the negative ratings - it seems organised to me by an "anti woke" coalition.

Hard to watch TV if you're not 'woke' anyway !

Just When You Think It Can't Get Any Worse...

It does. The writers should be prosecuted for murdering a once great series. The plotting is beyond awful. Childish ploys that a 5th grader could see coming. The woke characters are ludicrous. What they've done to Wags is a disgrace. I'm just here to watch the slow death of the patient.

The only redeeming grace, which caused me to rate it a 2 rather than a 1, is the glimpse of a renewed relationship between Chuck and Wendy.

What a waste of resources
manutd1972-461-78523414 March 2022
The writers have truly lost it. A 5-yr old can come up with a better story.

A public defender who's intent on bringing to heel the super rich simply because they make way more money than the average man? How is that serving the public if no illegal means were employed to make that money, and all this while, the public prosecutor's office is wasting time and resources trying to find dirt on this guy instead of going after the real criminals? A personal vendetta against the elites? If they broke the law, sure. But if they hadn't done anything wrong yet, to go after them, to bait them into a wrongdoing, just simply targetting them, shouldn't this already be an abuse of power?

And then there's the hedge fund manager who's intent on doing good while making tons of money the right way? To help a city and make the lives of the masses better? Now I know I'm truly living in a fairytale.

So bad!!!!
cubsfan111710 March 2022
This show used to be about thinking and deception and now it is a vengeful millionaire character trying to take down a billionaire that wants to do things for the city but is being stopped at every turn. No drama, no excitement and I am done watching! Such a waste!

What happened to this once great show?
mvsboutique8 March 2022
This was the last episode for me. The show was once fun and exciting to watch. This season is torture. I will no longer be wasting my time. I wonder what happened to Billions and what are the writers thinking by producing such trash.

It was hard to watch
tuiluz27 August 2023
This episode was so hard to watch.. There are many things that are just bad. Like Mike Prince's affair/wife/whatever that changes her mind of where to stay without any reason every other scene.. Chuck just prosecuting the billionaire out of spite, and just focusing on destroying Mike, instead of doing something that would hurt billionaires in general.

Gosh, don't even get me started on what they did to Waggs, changing him into a low testosterone coach is absurd.

It is plain and simple stupid writing.

The only good thing was seeing Taylor screwing up, and Scooter's niece seems like a cool character, even though they are just making him a super genius right out the bat and this is complete fairytale.

I'm done. Five seasons, no more.

Yeah, I'm done. I gave it a good honest try, but doesn't seem like the writers did.. Shame it always goes south with the sixth season. Statistics wins again.

It has gone downhill fast

Wow. How to butcher a once brilliant series. It cannot be just because Damien Lewis left as his wife passed away. The writing and so called plots are abysmal. I've struggled to watch as far as Season 6.56 but I'm done. This is pathetic and sad as it used to be one of the best shows on TV. No longer. Don't bother.

I tried hate watching it. Sorry it is too painful to even do that. I am going to depart and just try and think the show ended with Axe leaving. This season's hot mess is just too much. I mean even the premise, getting NYC the 28 Olympics is stupid. LA has them already, and waiting until only 6 years before is a bit unreasonable, these things are usually decided further out. Hey that is just a minor point, the main is the way they F'ed with beloved characters. Ciao Billions, thanks for 5 great seasons.
