A Refreshingly Solid Episode
amcicciarelli20 October 2022
This episode feels like it channeled older Family Guy. The episode itself was more a "random" /inconsequential episode (if there are such things as consequential FG episodes) but nonetheless the storylines ran smoothly and didn't feel rushed or forced. The jokes were a pleasant surprise- the Gen Z references weren't cringey or misplaced as they can (usually) be and there wasn't any cringey political humor, just old-school nonsense Family Guy jokes. The B-plot was good for quick, stupid laughs and Brian and Chris actually went well together. Something about this episode, and season so far, feels a lot better.

Nearly a great episode! xD

I got to say... this was nearly a great episode! The main plot when Lois hypnotizes Peter into satisfying her sexual fantasies. But then later... I don't want to spoil anything... But just let's say... that Peter licks the wrong ice cream cone. Lol! Find out why if you watch this episode. You'll die of laughter!

This is almost the greatest episode that I ever seen in years! It felt like watching the old episodes of Family Guy again, but with even more outrageous scene that you'll never stop thinking about. And I'll never stop crying with laughter.

Very good episode! I give it an 8 out of 10!

Family Guy still has it!

The Season 21 episodes before this one had some laughs, but 'The Munchurian Candidate' really proved to me that after all those years Family Guy still can make great episodes! While the two storylines weren't complicated by any matter, the episode kept on delivering funny moments. And I think that's what Family Guy is really about!

What I like about Family Guy is that there is so much diversity. You've got the more serious episodes with still some laughs and then you've got the 'simple storyline laugh out loud episodes' like TMC. After seeing this episode I have faith that as far as comedy concerns, they're on the right path!

A damn good start because of a horrifying scene.

Warning: Spoilers
Alex's rent was due and that scream paid her. Watching Lois run up those stairs to Babs' room in terror and opening the door, delivering the most blood curdling scream i've ever heard is purely a 10/10. I remember seeing this episode for the first time and i have to say, i don't think i'll ever be able to eat ice cream the same again. This is possibly one of the greatest episodes of family guy (specifically the widescreen era) ever created, all because of that damned scene. Lois' scream of terror, Peter waking from his hypnosis screaming rapidly, and a final shot of Babs' very, very pleased face after Peter "cleaned her carpet". The words "extra extra" haunt me to this day.

I never write reviews but...

I've been watching Family Guy since it first aired, over and ever I would start from season one up until the current season. I've seen every season at least 10 times and I've always laughed and been entertained by it. But this episode has to be, hands down, the funniest one thus far. From start to finish it was superb. Every pun/joke landed, both Lois/Peter, Stewie/Brian/Chris stories was equally entertaining. I hope this season continues to deliver the way this episode did. Truly 10/10. If they continue on this path who knows maybe they will finally get that Emmy award they very much deserve.

Fresh start to a stale show

Warning: Spoilers
Family guy has grown quite stale in the past years jokes not landning, boring plots etc. But this episode was a great one with fantastic humor, intressting and funny plots. The whole hypnosis thing was a great plot and had some very fun moments. And the Stewie man care thing was also great Brian and Chris really shined in this as a combo wich they rarely do. The awkward drive home part was great to not dragged out but not to short either if family guy can keep up this momentum season 21 Will be a great season that will usher in a sorts of renaissance era for family guy. All in all a great fresh start to a show that has begun to grow stale and lackluster in recent years!

Fantastic episode in awhile

This is by far the best episode so far in a very long time. The main plot with Peter and Lois finding spark in their sex life was hilarious especially the part Peter gets hypnotized into sleeping with Babs was too funny. The subplot with Stewie building a clubhouse was also entertaining. Brian and Chris's criticisms were harsh but warranted about Stewie trying to hard about impressing others regarding his image. 10/10 in my opinion. Best episodes in years XD. Season 21 is very interesting so far. I can't wait for the next episode. What a hilarious and raunchy episode. 🤣😂🤣😂. This show still has spunk.

The Munchurian Candidates
bobcobb30122 October 2022
Warning: Spoilers
These storylines were absolutely absurd, but I would be lying if I did not say that there were a lot of laughs in this 22 minute span. The show feels a little bit reinvigorated this season which is a good sign for all fans of comedy.

Getting Stewie back to his outrageous plots and his use of violence was good. The idea of Brian and Chris getting along so well in mocking him didn't make sense, but I guess that was a necessary evil to drive the story forward.

The Peter and Lois thing was childish, but the staring and silence on the drive home did kind of get me. That was old-school comedy that worked in 2022.

Ah, another garbage episode
backup-5036217 October 2022
With tons of dead air, just two overplayed, overused jokes stretched to infinity, once again about Lois being unhappy with Peter in the bed and Stewie being flamboyant -- oh how original and fresh!

We've only seen episodes like this about a trillion times in the last 20 years, except way funnier. But hey, why not repeat the same thing yet again but make it more cringey, more gross, more unfunny, more unoriginal, more boring, and just generally more of a dumpsterfire?

Whoever wrote this episode, out of the Russian roulette of talentless nobody Family Guy script writers, sure aimed very high. Truly impressive.
