Better than you think
AbhishekSkella25 March 2014
Warning: Spoilers
Can this get any better. what an episode the minute details the series provides about everything is huge. Like the honey bees and the small stitches for the case. Even the story is getting better and better. Dr. Hannibal seems more evil day by day. And you will pity Will. As the story is going we can see less and less characters as Dr. Lecter is having them as his dinner. One great thing though FBI solved their first case without having any consult with Will or Dr. Lecter. Although it was quiet depressing that they were not of any use. I missed the part where Will thinks himself as the killer and solve the crime. I am hoping Will to be more heroic and remember everything Dr. Lecter has done to him. Hoping to see some new fresh dishes next Monday.

He's Eating Them.
wandernn1-81-6832742 August 2020
Warning: Spoilers
So Graham is brought the pictures of the 'Color Palette' murderer by Katz. And Graham immediate assigns the kill of the killer on Lecter.

Katz is not convinced, and will not take Will's word that it's Hannibal Lecter they should be looking at.

+1 Star for the subsequent Beehive Victim Camerawork!!! Very Creepy!!!!

And then we're back to Chilton interviewing Graham once again in the Dunk Tank.

Crawford's wife back in session with Lecter. Talking about her cancer. Tough subject.

Haha, +1 Star when Lecter tells Katz he hears Graham's voice coming from her mouth.

Chilton interrogates Graham under influence of a truth drug. Finding Graham is missing memories caused by some sort of interference, perhaps by Lecter. Chilton confronts Lecter about this. Ruh Roh...might have been a big mistake Chilton!!!!

+1 Star for the touching scene between Jack Crawford and his wife.

+1 Star for the Man found in the park. What the heck???

After his drug treatment Graham starts to remember and put together more little details about Lecter. And during a conversation with Katz, a startling realization comes to Graham. :)

And then it's Honey Bunny!!! Oh how we love her!

At the end of the episode, where is Katz? Is she in Lecter's House??? In his Larder?? Oh no that's very bad!!! What is she doing there??? In the Lair Of The Beast???

+1 Star for the cliffhanger ending.

We give this episode, a 10 of 10!!!

A story of life and death!
and_mikkelsen23 April 2024
This was a thoughtprovoking experience, with themes and commentary that ended up sticking with me after the episode ended!

I felt like this was a story of life and how to meet peace when it ends! This was captured, both through the killer, as well as the return of Bella, who is terminaly ill, and knows that death will come, but not when or where! This was about taking "pain away" and how only death could provide true comfort!

The stuff with Hannibal was amazing too, as he only gets more and more sinister and scary! That ending was thrilling and nailbiting, even if I know it can only have one outcome!

Best Episode Yet

Warning: Spoilers
This show has taken a turn and a really good one at that! If anything the writing is superior than that of Season One, which in itself was exactly what I had hoped for a Hannibal first season. I find myself more enthusiastic when watching this second season, though. In my opinion, all the episodes have been a ten! The suspense is outrageous, the acting is phenomenal, it's dark, brutal, horrifying, and I love the camera work done on this show. This episode felt dark and touching at the same time. The ending alone is probably my favourite Hannibal ending yet. I'm completely hooked and enthralled watching this show. It takes me back to the glory days of Dexter. There are many things to come, and Will is becoming more interesting than ever as well because not only is he intelligent but through the help of drugs in this one, he's becoming more aware of the truth. Hannibal is captivating, smart and as viciously mesmerising as ever, major props to Mads for such a special performance. Also have to give a big thanks to Fishburne in this one, Gina Torres as well. This ending which the show provided was especially disturbing and if you're a big fan of questioning what could possibly come next in a show, you will find yourself doing just that after this one. I can't wait to see what's gonna happen. I can't fathom a better cast either, they're doing a really great, convincing job. The whole Bee concept/death parts of this episode were unquestionably well-done, too. Again the camera work/shots in this show are fantastic, completely superlative and it goes to show in this very episode! Hannibal's stance - movement at the end were creepy and it reminded me of Buffalo Bill dropping the cards and running round the corner in The Silence of the Lambs. Amazing.

The Monster [9/10]

Warning: Spoilers
My Reaction / Review for Hannibal Season 2 Episode 4: Episode 3 was great and I gave it a rating of 9/10. It sucks that Bella is dying, I feel bad for Jack. This bee killer looks very disturbed and sadistic. Is Hannibal about to be exposed? Now Will knows that not only he collects trophies from his victims but he is also eating them. Fascinating. This Bee killer is not very smart, she pretty much told them who she is and what she's doing to these poor people. Bella's death is so sad and tragic. Did Hannibal brought her back to life? I thought he would let her die peacefully, damn. Beverly got inside Hannibal's house? That's definitely a bad bad idea. What a cliffhanger, wow! An amazing episode overall, my rating is 9/10.

One strange thing in this episode
searchanddestroy-123 November 2023
I won't get back on the quality of this awesome TV series, which we can't compare with any other show speaking of serial killers. It is purely awesome, with so many characters, murders, sophisticated, cruel, murders, so many victims and serial killers too; not only Hannibal Lecter. And the most peculiar is that there is ALWAYS a connection between each of those murders and Hannibal, even if he is not the murderer. But here, there is an exception, the murders with the bees. You will notice that everything related with this element, this case, has NO CONNECTION at all with the rest of the series, no connection at all with Hannibal. Very strange. But why not?
